What is a printable poster?
A printable poster is a digital file (high-resolution PDF) that you download after purchase and print yourself. It is a quick and affordable way to decorate your walls, with no waiting for delivery.
Wall poster or wall art print: what's the difference?
None: both terms refer to an illustration meant to hang on the wall. We use them for the same range of products.
What kind of posters do you sell?
We offer kitchen posters, Paris posters, motivational posters, a vacation rental kit and personalized birth posters. Browse everything in our printable wall art collection.
Prices and Payment
How much does a printable poster cost?
Our printable posters cost €4 to €7, most of them €4 or €5. Personalized posters cost €4 to €6 depending on the design. The price includes the high-resolution PDF file; printing and framing are up to you.
Is a printable poster cheaper than a poster delivered by mail?
Yes. A printed poster delivered by mail often costs €15 to €30 including shipping. With a printable file, you only pay for the file and the printing, and you can reprint it for your personal use.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Cartes Bancaires), PayPal, Apple Pay, Shop Pay, Klarna and Bancontact. Payment is secure; we do not store any card details.
Download and Delivery
How do I receive my poster?
Nothing is shipped: our posters are digital files. Standard posters can be downloaded immediately after payment (link sent by email and available in your customer account). Personalized posters are sent by email within 24 to 48 business hours.
I didn't receive the email. What should I do?
First check your spam or junk folder and the "Promotions" tab. If the file isn't there, contact us at contact@salad-dressing.com with your order number and we will send it again.
Do you deliver outside France?
Yes. Since our posters are digital, they are available worldwide (UK, US, Canada, Belgium, Switzerland…) with no shipping costs.
Sizes, Printing and Framing
Which file sizes do I get?
You receive a high-resolution PDF (300 DPI) in A4 (21 × 29.7 cm / 8.3 × 11.7 in) and A3 (29.7 × 42 cm / 11.7 × 16.5 in). Some personalized posters also come in other sizes, listed on the product page.
How do I print a poster at home in good quality?
Open the PDF, choose "actual size" (100%) or "fit to page" in the print settings, select the highest quality and a thick matte paper. A color inkjet printer is enough for A4. If you print on US Letter paper, choose "fit to page". Find more tips in our printable poster guide.
What paper should I use to print a poster?
A thick matte paper of 200 to 250 gsm gives a finish close to an art print. Matte or satin photo paper also works. Avoid standard 80 gsm office paper, which is too thin.
Where can I print an A3 poster if I don't have a printer?
At a print shop or copy center, a photo printing kiosk, or an online printing service. Just send the PDF file and ask for a color print on thick matte paper.
What frame size should I buy?
A standard A4 (21 × 29.7 cm) or A3 (29.7 × 42 cm) frame, sold in home decor stores and online. For a more elegant look, choose a larger frame with a mat.
How can I hang a poster without drilling?
Use removable adhesive strips, a frame standing on a shelf, or a picture rail. It is ideal for renters. See our no-drill wall decor guide.

Personalized Posters
Which posters can be personalized?
Our birth posters and some name or message posters can be personalized. The available details (name, date, message, language) are listed on each product page.
What goes on a birth poster?
Usually the baby's name, date of birth, time, weight and length. Depending on the design, you can also choose the language (English or French).
How do I send my personalization details?
When you place your order, write the details requested on the product page (name, date, message…) in the order note. We then prepare your poster and send it to you as a PDF by email.
How long does it take to receive a personalized poster?
Within 24 to 48 business hours after we receive your details. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next business day.
Can I correct a detail after ordering?
Yes, as long as the file has not been created yet. Email us quickly at contact@salad-dressing.com with your order number and the correction.
Use, Returns and Contact
Can I use the poster for commercial purposes?
No. Our files are for personal use only: they may not be resold, redistributed or shared online.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
As these are digital products, no refund or exchange is possible after download, in accordance with the law on digital content. If a file is faulty or a link doesn't work, contact us and we will quickly find a solution. See our terms of sale.
